As Director of Strategy and Regulation
for Severn Trent Water, Tony Ballance is responsible for developing the
company’s strategy and business plans; its relationship with regulator
OFWAT and the communications functions. Tony is also the chairman of the
Severn Trent WaterAid Committee and has been a long term supporter of
WaterAid, having visited projects in Ethiopia and Mali Tony felt
inspired to do more to raise vital funds. Although Tony is a keen walker
and can be regularly found in the gym this is the first time he has
undertaken a challenge of this nature. “Combining my desire to climb
