A journey to the roof of Africa...

Ten employees from Severn Trent Water will set off for Africa in March 2012 on a dual mission - to help WaterAid transform lives and to conquer the world's highest free-standing mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro.

The intrepid adventurers will face a grueling 10 day trek up the 5,895m mountain raising much needed funds for WaterAid to provide clean, safe water and adequate sanitation for some of Tanzania's poorest communities.

Some 46% of Tanzanians do not have safe water and a staggering 76% live without basic sanitation.
